Looks like C-SPAN buckled. Supposedly they recieved 3,000 emails mostly negative complaining about Irving. You would think the revisionist side could muster at least 1,500 emails -- Oh well I suppose it will take a few more years --

Well, we can trust Lipstadt. After all, we all know that she didn't do this flagrant dodge because Irving would have drawn immediate doubt on her viewpoint. Nor did she do it because the public would have seen right through her and warmed to revisionism. Never was there the chance she did it because Irving could have asked things about the holocaust that she couldn't answer. Or that those things would have destroyed the "holocaust denial" canard and drawn doubt on US war propaganda. No.
She did it because Irving is a holocaust denier and there are no shades in between...

I must say though it sure puts a smile on ones face the way David manages to get these three ring circuses going with the traditional enemies of freedom
