I thought it might be interesting to compare the handwriting of Eichmann during the war and his "memoirs" supposedly written in Israeli captivity - and where would we be without all these convenient prison memoirs of Nazis?
Here is a page, slightly magnified, of a letter written in prison. It was released a few years ago to the media

And here is page of his handwritten CV from the Berlin Document Center

The two writing styles look very different even if you consider one was written in 1940 and the other in 1960.
The only point where they look the same is that where Eichmann has printed his name in the top left hand corner of his Lebenslauf, this looks surprisingly similiar to how he signs his name in 1960

I am not so good at photoshop so you get two copies of the printed Lebenslauf version. There are some slight differences for example the earlier version has loops on the "h" and the "f" which the other lacks and so forth, but overall the names are very similiar.
However, to me it seems that the signature on the later version is completely out of character to the rest of the letter, whereas the printed name on the Lebenslauf seems to grow organically out of the rest of the script.
My suggestion is that may be whoever wrote this letter may have used the Lebenslauf for a model to sign the name, but it is too difficult to do that for anything other than copying a name letter for letter.
Incidently the War Crimes unit in Haifa have the entire Berlin Document Center in copies, so they would have no trouble locating the Lebenslauf as a model.
I am interested if there are any further facismiles of Eichmann's memoirs out there.
