Well, if it would help, perhaps you could sign as Potpie and PM me your real name. Then if and when I get to the stage of presenting the petition, at least I will have a record of it. I'll understand if you don't want to though. Its still your call. Unfortunately there are probably about 20 or 30 si...

I know its difficult for some people, Potpie, but I don't see how else it can work. I would point out that the petition does not advocate any particular political position or opinion on the Holocaust. Its just about freedom of speech. It has already been signed by many people who have no particular ...

well, thanks for the encouragement, Bankdraft. I'm sure your formatting suggestion makes sense but unfortunately I can't edit the petition once its live - its a rule of the web host and makes sense because people don't want to put their name to something and then see it changed. I'm not going to dis...

ok, I viewed the HC petition and supported the cause, but didn't like the wording as it contained a quote which referred to revisionism as being a position of 'stupidity'. It was suggested to me to design an alternative, so I did. It seems the German government does have a 'petitions committee' so i...

My opinion - for whatever its worth...I really don't see what the problem is. Irving is an individual. he doesn't claim to represent you or the 'revisionist community' (if such a thing exists). He's entitled to say what he wants. And people are entitled to buy / read what they want and make up their...

well, a lot's been added since my last visit - thanks for all comments. I'm afraid I don't have time to reply in detail to everyone, but will jot a few words, starting with some of the more recent replies. I have little to add from my own perspective at the moment, as I've been on holiday and all re...

Thanks for all responses so far. I'm afraid I'm going to have to try to be brief as I'm jumping on a plane in a few hours to go on a much needed holiday. Hannover - you've got a lengthy list of anti-Nuremberg quotes there, which is useful. I've found personally that when searching for opinions about...

Hannover, What you're asking for there is a point by point analysis of each of the 22 defendants' cases at the IMT. I'm working on something like that at the moment - but we're talking about a book-length project - its not something I could post up on a discussion board. Also - if you've got the imp...

I don't think its just the fact that Finucane wrote it, its also the fact that the info came from a conversation he had with a German defense lawyer. This doesn't make it worthless as a source but even the most subjective person must be able to see that it makes it less valid than if it was a genuin...

I'm listening to all the answers jnovitz, but just hadn't found any very satisfactory until the last couple. Could you please post a reference for the section of the IMT transcripts you're quoting there? I might use that. With regard to the rest of what you wrote, I would say you should try to avoid...

Ah, yes the Rajzman thing. Thanks for that Hektor. I've come accross that before but don't know as much about it as I should, so will look into that. Obviously, if we're looking at shaky evidence presented and accepted, there's the soap factory thing as well. (Katyn Forest is often mentioned in this...
