A review of 2 books on the subject - Racing For The Bomb : General Leslie Groves The Indispensable Man by Robert Norris and The Decision To Use The Atomic Bomb by Gar Alperovitz. From the article - "In March 1945 MacArthur sent Lt Gen George Kenney the head of his air forces to Washington to br...

Re: Starved prisoners question

The prisoners who had the position of kapo were able to in some cases kill other inmates. Because communists were more organised than other prisoners they were able to achieve control over certain activities in the camps. This included the kitchens and rationing system. If you were anti communist or...

Ron Unz has come to the same conclusion. Here he reviews the books Target Patton and KIlling Patton. In his opinion the former is the better of the two -

Re: Roosevelt's Road To War

Roosevelt asked studio head Jack Warner to make a movie which showed Stalin and his USSR in a positive light. The result was Mission to Moscow released in 1943. It was based on the posting of former US ambassador Joseph E Davies and his recollections of the era. It shows the soviet tyrant as a frien...

Re: What was the Wehrmacht guilty of?

The subject of this thread reminds me of a photographic exhibit in Germany in the late 1990s whose purpose was to slander and demean the wartime record of the Wehrmacht. The promoters of this exhibit were forced to withdraw it with egg on their faces after a lot of the photos were shown to be not of...

Re: Just finished Dalton's book?

Agree with suggestions made above but another excellent read which helps put things in context regarding pre war zionist activities among other very important subjects is The Founding Myths of Modern Israel. The Founding Myths of Modern Israel by Roger Garaudy is online here - https://codoh.com/lib...

Re: Lipstadt, Free Speech, and the ADL

For starters Lipstadt isn't a historian she is a professor of religion. So for her to impugn the career of Irving and imply that he isn't a real historian is contemptible. Even when confronted with the fact that she is telling lies Lipstadt simply ignores it as this clash with Irving a few years bef...

The book by David Irving on this subject is called Nuremberg The Last Battle. I haven't read it myself but if any other readers have maybe they can post an opinion yay or nay. The following is a positive review by Daniel Michaels.

Ron Unz has written a lengthy and detailed article on why he thinks holocaust revisionism is worth investigating. The comments section is also very encouraging. Ron Unz deserves our full support.

Re: Why Hitler Declared War on the United States

Roosevelt was doing everything possible to create a warlike mentality in the American public. He even wanted conscription when the US wasn't even at war with another country. There was strong opposition to this but it did eventually pass but only by one vote. https://codoh.com/library/document/2009/...
