Re: Burden of Proof
Trude, I'll ignore the rudeness and personal invective. I'm just not interested. On substantive points: about the BBC, I did say Zionist supporters hate them. In a British context, liberal tends to equate with, if not anti-Zionist, at least a sympathetic position toward ordinary Palestinians. The B...

Re: Burden of Proof
You don't know enough about the BBC either. They are not simply brainwashed. They have an agenda and it is not just to print and broadcast the news they think people want. Of course they are brainwashed. No more or less than the rest of the world which is not "allowed" to view revisionist...

Re: Burden of Proof
Jofo The spirit of this site, though not of all who post on the boards, is "Open Debate". If we want open debate we must ourselves be open to debate. I support absolutely Bradley's position that while our present understanding of the facts leads us to think that there were no gas chambers...

Re: Burden of Proof
P.S. For example, the New York Times is a part of the conspiracy and has been for a loooong time. The BBC joined it somewhere along the line. The way it is done, it fits the definition of conspiracy. Disagree -- in the case of the BBC; I don't know enough about the NYT. Conspiracy implies knowing c...

Re: Burden of Proof
Kingfisher, [...] In reality, the hoax is not a major issue for the vast majority of people. There are, however, many contemporary victims of Jewish swindling whether they may be individuals taken in by Bernie Madoff or his ilk, or people whose children have died fighting in the Middle East defendi...

Re: Burden of Proof
And speaking of Jewish lies, I agree with Kingfisher and others that it is not necessary to explain the holocaust in terms of a Jewish conspiracy. There's no conspiracy among the Jews to swindle the goyim into believing in the holocaust so the Jews could steal Israel from the Palestinians. Yes, Isr...

Re: Elie Wiesel's sisters
When Elie Wiesel was interviewed by Oprah in Nov. 2000, he said the following about his sisters. Oprah: Did you know your sisters were alive? Elie: No. When I was still in Buchenwald, I studied the lists of survivors, and my sisters' names were not there. That's why I went to France— otherwise I wou...

Re: Find Elie's tattoo! Win big money.
With all the lies and forgeries that comprise the hoax, how hard would it be to fake a mere tattoo? In fact, Wiesel could just as well fake a photograph of his tattoo and find "experts" who would claim that it was authentic. It is quite naive to imagine that we can simply ask for proof re...

Re: Elie Wiesel's sisters
@ Trude: I did year-long research, in archives at Hannover, Wolfenbüttel, Goslar, Bad Grund, Osterode, Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Oderhaus, Braunlage, Selters, Munich and Jerusalem in the Gandersheim case and interviewed dozens of eyewitnesses - of course critically examining their testimonies. Numerous...

Re: Elie Wiesel's sisters
As this did not remain unnoticed by the locals, it is well documented. So, at any rate, it was a wise decision to go with the SS on evacuation and not to stay in the camp. Since it was 'noticed' by the locals, I suppose the the grave has been identified and excavated? Or not? Please read a text bef...

ad 4) The kids shall feel empathy with her and all Holocaust victims as well as contempt for and disgust with the perpetrators. I do not see a call for action, nor for transfer these feelings to a situation in which the kids might be, e.g. mobbing against a minority in school, or a behavior express...

Re: Elie Wiesel's sisters
I understand your numbers 1 and 2, but 3 and 4 are quite unclear to me. Can you be more definite about what you mean, please? Since you haven't read Wiesel's Night , or any of his other books, you can use Zisblatt's The Fifth Diamond as an example, if need be. We have both read that. Thanks. ad 3) ...

Re: Elie Wiesel's sisters
@ Trude: Re. his camp memoirs: As an historian, I analyze all testimonies - not only those from camp survivors - on four levels, according to the scheme developed in the theory of communication: 1) What does the author say are "facts"? 2) What does the author say about himself? 3) How doe...

Re: Elie Wiesel's sisters
@ Mojo: The vast majority of Hungarian Jews who were transferred from Auschwitz to camps in the interior of the Reich in the summer of 1944 had been "transit Jews" at Auschwitz: taken in, but not registered as inmates (and therefore not assigned a prisoner number that had to be tattooed o...

Re: Elie Wiesel's sisters
Hey thanks! I obviously didn't check the records thoroughly enough. Which survivor tracing organization did this come from? So they were transferred to Dachau from Auschwitz on Aug. 1, 1944. If they arrived at Aus. in June, they were probably in quarantine until then. Kaufering was built after 1943 ...
