The narrative has morphed yet again.

The Times article now mentions "huge halls for the storage of corpses". I don't recall these being mentioned before, but I guess you need them to solve the problem of accounting for the cremation capacity bottleneck.

Disposal of large numbers of corpses

The UN's Food and Agriculture Organization has produced a very informative guide to the disposal of animal carcasses with a lot of useful information and advice on the techniques of pit burial and cremation. It certainly helped me to get a firmer handle on the problems the Germans would have faced w...

What's going on? I thought all photos from the concentration camps had to be out of focus, lacking contrast and with peculiar cropping and aspect ratios.

Greg, Should I put it more simply for you? If a tree ring sample showed that the tree was, say, 70 years old that would be a problem for the orthodox story. Likewise if it showed that the tree was fifty years old. Only, and only if, the tree ring record shewed that the tree had been growing in that ...

Did the Germans plant seedlings or saplings to camouflage the location of the burial pits? Or did they move mature trees?

Either way a straightforward tree ring sample would provide conclusive, measurable evidence as to the truth of this particular claim.

Flooding risk for Auschwitz site

The Polish authorities are warning that the Auschwitz camp is threatened with flooding unless remedial action is taken. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/poland/3055371/Auschwitz-camp-museum-at-risk-of-flooding.html This is official confirmation that a high watertable would have been ...

It appears that the technology has successfully located the remains of a single child buried over forty years ago. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1039615/Human-remains-moor-schoolboys-body-buried-Brady-Hindley.html Perhaps the Department of Defense could arrange a few satellite fly overs in...

The layout and design of the bunker has a vaguely familiar look.

And here's another shot. In fact I wonder if these doors were imported from Germany before the outbreak of war?

Here's another very recent photograph of what could be taken for a "gas chamber" door. It has a spy hole and even the distinctive long handled securing latches. http://i243.photobucket.com/albums/ff119/samtait87/28dayslater/DSC_0269-2.jpg It's part of an underground air raid bunker in Leic...

The police in Channel Island of Jersey are investigating abuse and murder of children at a local orphanage which dates back to the 1950s. Forensic experts have found fragmentary evidence of what are believed to be human remains. This would seem to confirm that obtaining hard forensic evidence - invo...

Another gas chamber door

I like to keep my eyes open for examples of German gas tight doors in non homicidal locations. There is an excellent picture of just such a door - complete with peep hole - in a WW2 air raid shelter at the following site. http://berlinerunterwelten.de/en/011/Flyer_BUeV_10_06_e-sp.pdf Go to page 2 an...

Diesel gassing at Treblinka

According to the orthodox history a diesel was used to kill the occupants of the Treblinka gas chambers. A few questions that sprung to mind are ... 1) Has anyone ever described how the exhaust fumes were piped to the individual chambers? 2) What effect would attaching an exhaust pipe many meters lo...
