Man in Hungary gets 3 years’ probation for Holocaust denial

January 21, 2016

BUDAPEST, Hungary — A Budapest court on Thursday sentenced a Hungarian man to three years’ probation for publicly denying that the Holocaust happened.

The case stems from a June 2012 speech in which Ferenc Oroshazi read excerpts from “Fatelessness,” a semi-autobiographical novel by Hungarian Holocaust survivor and Nobel Prize-winning author Imre Kertesz, and said they proved that the Holocaust didn’t happen.

“Fatelessness” narrates the experiences of a 14-year-old boy, Gyuri Koves, in the Auschwitz and Buchenwald death camps. Kertesz drew upon events from his own life for the book.

In one excerpt, Koves is asked about the gas chambers upon returning from the death camps and says that he did not see any although he heard about them. Oroshazi claimed that showed that the Holocaust did not take place.

An earlier request by Oroshazi to have Kertesz take the stand at the trial was rejected by the court.

Oroshazi was present only at the start of Thursday’s court session. He left after saying he didn’t accept the legitimacy of Hungary’s Basic Law, as the Constitution is now called, and refusing to recognize the authorities’ right to put him on trial.

Oroshazi’s lawyer appealed the verdict, asking for his client’s acquittal.

The public denial, downplaying or justification of the Holocaust or of the crimes committed by Hungary’s communist regime can be punished by up to three years in prison. Last year, a Hungarian man was fined 800,000 forints ($2,750, 2,550 euros) for denying the Holocaust in a comment on the Facebook page of a Jewish advocacy group.

3 years, no surprise!

Hungary makes Holocaust denial a crime

Published: 03.10.10

Hungarian President Laszlo Solyom has signed a law making Holocaust denial punishable by three years in prison. The law was approved last month by Hungarian lawmakers, after more wide-ranging versions of the law had been rejected by courts for limiting free speech.

Spokesman Ferenc Kumin says President Solyom signed the bill because in his opinion the law is not unconstitutional. Parliament had rejected an amendment put forward by the center-right opposition adding to the bill crimes by Hungary's pro-Nazi and communist regimes. The governing Socialist Party and Hungary's growing Jewish community welcomed the news Wednesday. Some 550,000 Hungarian Jews and 50,000 Gypsies were killed in the Holocaust.

Now that get's interesting. I wonder if there is an English, German or other translation of this book. Hungarian is difficult to read, since it isn't an Indo-European language.

"An earlier request by Oroshazi to have Kertesz take the stand at the trial was rejected by the court"

Because he would melt under cross-examination, worse than Vrba or Hilberg; that's why "they" won't allow Kertesz to take the stand.
Maybe, just maybe, they believe what they are telling you about the 'holocaust', but maybe, just maybe, their contempt for your intelligence and your character is beyond anything you could ever have imagined. -- Bradley Smith

Budapest, how I don't love thee. But at least one can get slobbering drunk 'til 5 am in the bars. Hungary also closed its borders under the premise of WHITE. CHRISTIAN. NATIONALISM. I see no demonization towards Hungary from the press, which is peculiar. The swarthy herds are repelled from Hungary as they would be from Israel.
Where are the cartoons of rabid, xenophobic, homophobic, and anti-semitic Huns boiling the herds alive? Ask the chief Rabbi of Budapest.

"Xenophobic" Hungarians, Europeans?

So then, the American Indians were xenophobic in resisting downtrodden European migrants.
And recall the UN's 'indigenous peoples rights'. Of course the Zionists & neo-Marxists fail to recognize the rights of indigenous Europeans.

Those points stop the neo-Marxists, racist Zionists in their tracks. Use them.

The 'holocaust' storyline is one of the most easily debunked narratives ever contrived. That is why those who question it are arrested and persecuted. That is why violent, racist, & privileged Jewish supremacists demand censorship. What sort of truth is it that crushes the freedom to seek the truth? Truth needs no protection from scrutiny.

The tide is turning.
If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.

Hannover, the Jewess Barbara Spectre can be seen online openly boasting about the Judeo-centric ideology that is actually fomenting the "migrant" crisis. She proclaims that Europe has yet to learn to be "multi-cultural". What can one expect from a monolithic cyclops like Spectre?
German culture is not French culture; which in turn is not Hungarian or Abkhazian culture. etc.
My previous use of the standard slurs, ie, "xenophobic" etc should be clarified. Had Germany proclaimed a closed-border policy rooted in WHITE, CHRISTIAN, NATIONALISM; well, I can already see what the cover of Time or Charlie Hebdo etc would look like. The Jewish press would be merciless. Yet Hungary is immune to thus criticism. What gives?
