Gerstein and Globocnik

Postby Hebden » 1 decade 6 years ago (Sat May 29, 2004 3:55 pm)

Here is a brief timetable of SS-Lieutenant Gerstein's trip to Aktion Reinhard:

17th August 1942 - Meets SS-General Globocnik in Lublin who tells him that Mr. Hitler, Reichsführer Himmler and ministerial counsellor Dr. Linden had visited him the day before yesterday, i.e., the 15th August 1942, to discuss the progress of Aktion Reinhard.

18th August - Accompanied by SS-General Globocnik and Dr. Pfannenstiel, SS-Lieutenant Gerstein travels to Belzec, and is shown around the camp.

19th August - Early that morning, a transport arrives from Lvov (Lemberg) and the visiting party witness a mass gassing of Jews, albeit one delayed for three hours.

20th August - SS-Lieutenant Gerstein and Dr. Pfannenstiel travel on to Treblinka.

While it has long been established that Mr. Hitler could not have been in Lublin on the 15th August 1942, a reading of Der Dienstkalender Heinrich Himmlers 1941/42 allows us to shed further light on the alleged sequence of events.

On the 15th August, Reichsführer Himmler was not in Lublin either. He was in Ukraine where he met with Mr. Hitler at his 'Wehrwolf' GHQ, near Vinnitsa.

On the 17th of August, SS-General Globocnik was in Lvov where he met with Reichsführer Himmler. This meeting took place in the evening, so if SS-General Globocnik had also been in Lublin with SS-Lieutenant Gerstein, their meeting must have occurred in the morning giving him sufficient time to travel the 100 or so miles to Lvov.

As SS-General Globocnik reportedly accompanied SS-Lieutenant Gerstein to Belzec on August 18th, he must have completed the roundtrip back to Lublin in short order.

This would be the same SS Gerstein who has been debunked ad nauseum here:

His SIX conflicting 'confessions' are a real hoot, and there is no evidence for gassings at Belzec (or anywhere else for that matter). We would welcome Hebden's evidence for these alleged gassings if he has any.

If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.
