Good day to you once more, gentlemen. Something caught my eye recently and I am not entirely sure if this has been discussed on this forum before and my search certainly did not give any useful results, but it could've been very sloppy to begin with. However, an article sent to me by my friend (link: https://www.warhistoryonline.com/world- ... ler-x.html ) has made me wonder why would people smuggle out Jews from ghettos if the plan wasn't to exterminate them. What reason would people have to smuggle them out? Or was the general public confused by the statements made by the German government and propaganda flowing in from the East to the point that they couldn't tell what was true and what was false, and just acted on impulse?
I do theorize that maybe it was due to some innate altruistic desire to not see fellow humans locked up and struggling during a war, or something like that, but something about this entire story just irks me, especially because of the fact that Irena Sendlerowa was a member of the Polish Socialist Party, a left-wing political entity, much like the various communist parties found in Europe and the one in the USSR at the time. However, everything I've said is purely a theory based on what little information I have available on Irena Sendlerowa and people like her who smuggled out people and I would certainly be thankful if anyone can explain this entire case in better detail to me.
Is there any material I could read in regards to this topic that could shine some light on it? And what exactly is the Revisionist stance on Irena Sendlerowa and human smugglers like her?

You got it. Think of the east German state after the Berlin wall went up which was in a similar state to any ghetto of the war. Privations and harsh lifestyle, so were the east Germans being executed? No. Nevertheless many tried to get out by any means possible including being smuggled out in disguise and in bags, lorries and impersonating military. The same applies to the jews you are discussing, they wanted to escape. Nothing unusual in that, but it does not prove any intent to exterminate them en masse.
