'Top-selling German newspaper says new online hate speech law must be scrapped'

Something is clearly stirring.

excerpts
1. Intended to prevent radical groups from gaining influence, it was having precisely the opposite effect, he said.
"The law against online hate speech failed on its very first day. It should be abolished immediately," Reichelt wrote, adding that the law was turning AfD politicians into "opinion martyrs".

2. Justice Minister Heiko Maas defended the law, telling Bild that freedom of opinion did not mean carte blanche to spread criminal content on the internet.
"Calls to murder, threats, insults and incitement of the masses or Auschwitz lies are not an expression of freedom of opinion but rather attacks on the freedom of opinion of others," he said.

Orwellian in the extreme.

1. The law was intended to prevent free speech, plain & simple.

And what such laws are trying to shield are easily debunked lies, which the Zionists & their shills obviously realize.

The 'holocaust' storyline, for example, cannot withstand rational, scientific scrutiny.
Such laws too conveniently make criticism of the party in power illegal. Note the attacks on the rival AfD party for voicing their views on the obvious.

2. Fake, false, strawman arguments:

What "calls to murder"? What "threats"?
No one is doing that.

"Incitement of the masses"?
IOW, don't rally people to causes which truly do "threaten" leftist power. Do not allow diverse opinions. Do not allow free speech and freedom of inquiry.

"Criminal content" is simply what leftists do no want discussed.
Unhinged leftists like Heiko Maas are actually debasing the word "criminal".

And how is rational, scientific examination of Auschwitz an "attack on the freedom of opinion of others"?
If they don't like other opinions of Auschwitz & the impossible '6M Jews, 5M others, & gas chambers' then they have complete freedom to respond.

But therein lies the problem for leftists / Zionists:

The 'holocaust' storyline is one of the most easily debunked narratives ever contrived. That is why those who question it are arrested and persecuted. That is why violent, racist, & privileged Jewish supremacists demand censorship. What sort of truth is it that denies free speech and the freedom to seek the truth? Truth needs no protection from scrutiny.
Only liars demand censorship.

Revisionists are just the messengers, the absurd impossibility of the ridiculous 'holocaust' storyline is the message.

If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.

You have to wonder at the level of debate Heikl Maas finds "acceptable."
Actually, few people actually care about Free Speech. Anything that frightens or offends them or runs counter to their personal interest
is fair game for censorship.

That is why the new definition of "anti-Semitism" which includes per se Revisionism is a useful tool for censors like Maas.

That's rather primitive rhetorical trickery using bait and switch techniques and guilty by association methods.

But I guess many conditioned people will still fall for this.
