A.K., die 113. Sich. (durchgestrichen) Div. und das Vorkommando des Wbh. Ukraine.

Copied by Krausnick and Wilhelm and ignored existing documents
In the standard work of the Freiburg military archive "The German Reich and the Second World War", Volume 4, German Verlagsanstalt Stuttgart 1983, p. 1046, Fusnote is admitted that the author the incident description of the case Babi Jar of Krausnick / Wilhelm, "The troupe of Weltanschauungskrieg " Has copied (" I follow here the representation of Krausnicki Wilhelm ") , although it is clear that these two in turn exclusively" the event reports USSR follow ", ie in turn written off dubious papers and " the files of the stationed in Kiev Feldkommandantur 195 (454 Div.) . He also conjures up something "Major-General Eberhardt" , "with the support of the Propaganda Company 637 of the 6th Army High Command, issued an appeal to the Jews of Kiev to report their resettlement on 29 September . " He also conjures up "the cooperation with other SS units" from the arm.
We have requested the mentioned documents in the Freiburg military archive. Hokus pokus: they were gone . Suddenly " nothing has been handed down from the Feldkommandantur 195 itself." 35) " Nothing more has been handed down" had to be called, because in 1983 they obviously still existed.
Nevertheless, surprisingly, there was a "visitation note" by a nameless war administrative council in the files of the war diary of Sich. Div. 454, Qu. Dept., Reports of Activities from 1. 9. to 31. 12. 1941.37) This is a copy of a 2-page typewritten typeface without a header, without a signature dated October 2 , 1941: Re: "Visit to FK 195 / Kiev / on 1.10.1941 ". Page 1 may be authentic:"The military admin. Group of the FK 195 is separated by several km from the FK, without telephone connection and signs, in a school building in which the city administration has provisionally accommodated after the fire . However, there is a move to less remote and better equipped rooms. The city administration appointed by the military defense group is under the direction of a former university professor as Lord Mayor.
KVA boss dr. Must mention that on 24.9. in the evening Kiev had arrived / day of the explosion in the FK / and at the Div., Dept. VII, therefore did not audition, because he was on the part of the OKH / KVCh. Dr. Thanks / Fastest move to Kiev has been suggested.
- He confirms that he will cross over to Kyiv City Commissioner after advancing civil administration .
The situation in Kiev is extremely difficult, mainly as a result of the fire, in which approx. 1 sq km, densely built-up, burned down and approx. 10 000 people were homeless, as well as the lack of food, but also by the unclear jurisdiction; many departments have argued against the military defense group to be able to give instructions, according to the 29th AK, the 113th. (crossed out) Div. and the advance command of the Wbh. Ukraine. In a meeting with the commander of the city Colonel iGv Krosigk, head of the Gen.Stabes at Berück Süd, clarified this jurisdiction question that only the 454th Sich.Div. BEZW. FK 195 was responsible for Kiev including the districts east of the Djnepr .
Food supplies are available only in very small quantities . Two cold stores full of meat had been confiscated by the 29th AK; the release of the one took place so late that the meat was already almost spoiled and had to be immediately issued to the population , with 1 kg per person was sold. Whether the other cold store has already been cleared is still in need of clarification; In any case, it lies east of the Dnieper and is therefore z. At the moment hardly accessible. The FK does not yet have the opportunity to visit the parts of the city beyond the Dnieper or even to carry out transports, since the so-called commander of the Dnieper transition independently decides on the permission to use the pontoon bridge and the ferry. Colonel v. Krosigk therefore intends to place this commander under the Berück South.
Bread grain bezw. Flour is present in the city only in insufficient quantities. A distribution to the population is therefore not possible; However, it was recommended to the FK to have bread distributed to at least the workers of the utilities and the military facilities / fire brigade, auxiliary police, shipyards / by the city administration . A large bakery should be operational for this purpose been made. - "
Page 2 of this note has certainly been falsified - at least by adding the second and third paragraphs. Page 2 reads:"The supply difficulties will worsen, as Wi In Süd / KVA Ch. Ackermann was forbidden to bring food to Kiev on September 30;
Wi Kdo Kiev therefore had to stop the grain deliveries from the Shitomir area already under way .
The FK has been promised that the division will review the reasons for these measures and that gF will report to Berück Süd. Internally it was agreed that the FK will at least promote the delivery of vegetables by the rural population ; To this end, it wants to agree with FK 198 that this will bring vegetables from their area to Kiev on the market.
Most of the homeless are supposed to have been accommodated in Jewish apartments that have been released. The rest could on 1.10. Towards the evening after the removal of the barrier, which was carried out in the vicinity of the source of the fire, he returned to his apartments, as far as they were still usable.
The population is estimated at about half of the normal level, ie around 400,000. - The Jews of the city were invited to come to a certain place for the purposes of numerical registration and accommodation in a camp . There were about 34,000 including women and children. All were killed after spending their valuables and clothing , which took several days.
The number of unemployed is currently determined according to the instructions of the FK 195 / Militärverw.Group / by the newly established employment office of the ukr. City administration.
As far as there is a need for labor, they are put into work.
War Board. "
The falsifying insert of the 2nd and 3rd paragraphs of page 2 is not recognizable from the typewriter font , but to prove from the content:
"Most of the homeless should have been accommodated in Jewish apartments that have become vacant"
- he had to say: "in vacant ...".
"The rest could on 1.10. Towards evening ... to return to his apartments ". - Formulation and timing are unrealistic: First of all - so before they occupy "vacated Jewish apartments " - the homeless could have been informed about whether their own apartments have been preserved; but this they could only determine "towards the evening of the 1st 10th after the abolition of ... shut-off" . And this did not concern "the rest" of these people, but almost all. The majority of the homeless could not know where , given the chaotic circumstances of the conquest of Kiev by the German Wehrmacht and the unexpected large fire, the respective householders were just now. In addition, hardly anyone had an overview of what homes Jews owned and whether they were not coming back at any moment.
At most, neighbors could have known, but these had either either destroyed or found intact apartments and thus had little reason to take the property of their acquaintances . Thus, it is impossible that "the homeless have been mostly already housed in the Jewish apartments " . Incidentally, reference should be made to the event report "USSR 106" of 7 Oct. 1941, which was to be examined later : "The fact that the Jews were actually liquidated has hardly been known so far ." (See page 22, center right)
Formulated the war administration council allegedly, they were "housed" , so he implies that they have not put themselves in seemingly abandoned homes , but that this any authorities - be it German or Ukrainian - had apparently been trimmed on any plan , But at that time neither such authorities, nor planning, nor a survey, nor an organization could be mentioned. Compare herewith also the warning on the alleged German placards, after which everyone was threatened with shooting , who should occupy own Jewish apartments . (P. 28)
According to other documents, the posters for collecting were supposed to have been glued to the walls of Kiev on the 28th of September . Surprisingly enough, on the 29th of September, instead of 3000, 30,000 "at a certain place" were supposed to have arrived. The city administration was located in a makeshift temporary shelter in a school building without a telephone connection, the "liquidation concerned Sonderkommando 4a" , which "had carried out the operation without outside help," was apparently sufficiently "busy" on those days that it was could not care about "housing the homeless in Jewish apartments" , and others probably do not know about it, especially since "little was known that the Jews were liquidated." And just on 30.9. At the latest, "the homeless are said to have been accommodated for the most part in Jewish apartments that have become vacant. "
This is witchcraft! Such an assertion could never been recorded in any report of October 1, 1941!
Completely new is the formulation that the Jews of the city were asked "for the purpose of numerical registration and for accommodation in a camp" . So formulated no German!
a) A "numerical collection" could only make sense to a foreign propagandist, but not to the practitioner who had to make a "collection" .
b) Hardly anyone had packed his things and, with children, grandparents, and sick people, had promptly responded to a request from his opponent , who had just just interjected , because he intended "numerical capture" and " encampment ." Nobody had volunteered for such a prospect and given up all his possessions! From camps they had been fed up for decades!
c) The word "to" does not belong in the wording "for the purposes of numerical registration and accommodation". As said, no German formulates this!
d) And then the formulation already familiar to us of the "definite place" , "at which" the Jews allegedly had to appear, stirs up again. This is so striking the same handwriting, as in the aforementioned "USSR event reports " that this is not to be overlooked.
e) "There were about 34,000 including women and children". - This also a German had not formulated, because these people " did not announce" , but they "found themselves at best".
f) The mention that "those 34,000 had to give up valuables and garments before their killing " and the addition that "took several days " could only make sense to an atrocity propagandist , but not to a war council member who joined his visit to Kiev within One day, he was to obtain an overview of "the extremely difficult situation" and, if need be, to report on what he himself had seen, discussed and arranged, but not what he had supposedly heard from sources that remained anonymous.
"Several days" is also not true, because "the so-called action" is known to have been completed within 2 days . The War Administration Council, which took over the entire 1.10. Having to deal with questions of jurisdiction , because hardly anybody knew who and what to command what , strangely did not try to find out who was responsible for those 34,000, their clothes and valuables.
