Why Revisionism is not taught in school. Thank you Kenneth Marcus

I have always wondered why the "Good News" of scholarly, accurate Revisionism has not been embraced by the academic World.
The good news being that the deaths of a horrible tragedy were several quantum less that we were told at the Nuremberg Trials.
an example being Majdanek deaths dropping from 1,400,000 to 80,000.

I think that highly politicized bureaucrats like Kenneth Marcus are to thank. Mr. Marcus was a top-ranking official at the U.S. Education Department

"In his role at the department, Marcus built on his work fighting the boycott Israel movement and campus anti-Semitism through the Brandeis Center. Supporters and colleagues, such as the Zionist Organization of America and Elan Carr, the Trump administration’s envoy to fight anti-Semitism, have praised Marcus’ labeling of Israel criticism as anti-Semitism. Critics have said the conflation is an infraction on free speech.
Marcus notably reopened a case involving Rutgers University and a forum there in 2011 that Jewish students said involved harassment. He widely employed the State Department’s definition of anti-Semitism, which includes some types of anti-Israel activity, to investigate claims of discrimination under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act. The definition includes “applying double standards by requiring of [Israel] a behavior not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation” and holding Jews collectively responsible for Israel’s actions.

In short, he used his position to demonize people who stood up for Palestinian rights and probably exerted a baleful influence on Holocaust research.

While Mr. Marcus seems to be a nice guy it is quite clear he followed a strong special interest agenda which pitted him against academic freedom and Free Speech.
He should never have been allowed in such a position.
