Josef Ginzburg (JG Burg) is the most well-known Jew who survived WW2 persecution to question the gassing stories. His books are on VHO, in German.
Most Jewish survivors don't question that there were gassings, after all, the gassings were always taking place "somewhere else" and they don't know any more about it than anyone else. If the books and TV shows say gassings, well, then there must have been gassings: that's their atittude. If you really read survivor accounts, not usually the long book treatments, but shorter testimonies from ordinary people, they always say the same thing: I didn't know anything about gassings at the time, but I heard about it later, and, boy, I was lucky I wasn't gassed. The vast majority of survivors express these kinds of sentiments.
