Auschwitz's 60th anniversary brought out great stories

Postby Mark_Twain » 1 decade 4 years ago (Tue May 24, 2005 10:33 pm)

I saw Prince Harry wearing a swastika, 224 tombstones painted with swastikas, dead astronaut’s Talmuds found in Texas fields, NZ Prime Ministers weeping at ovens, Bush and Laura crying in front of Auschwitz’s ovens.

Half the world leaders paid their respects.

But the most amazing story was that of Alfred Tibor

That's crazy. That's definitely a new format for telling about the holocaust! I wouldn't even have believed you, but sure enough, you had links to bonified articles.

Can you imagine: you live your whole life getting accolades for being that rare holocaust survivor, and then in old age add one more story for a last hurrah.

And your listings of what you saw in your first paragraph is interesting and part of how the media brings things into our consciousness.

His whole Hungarian family was gassed in Auschwitz in 1941, but even Jews claim no gassings before June of 1944.

I'm not sure if that is your site, Mark, but I've noticed you're often loose with the facts, such as the example above. Unless you're talking about Hungarians specifically, in which case I don't know if you're right or not but the way you wrote it was confusing.

Mr Carto

I find that involved explanations can overload the average person. There is years of this ridiculous brainwashing and I find tiny stories are great at people saying - "What - That's totally absurd"

In mid-May 1944, the Hungarian authorities, in coordination with the German Security Police, began to systematically deport the Hungarian Jews. SS Colonel Adolf Eichmann was chief of the team of "deportation experts" that worked with the Hungarian authorities. The Hungarian police carried out the roundups and forced the Jews onto the deportation trains. In less than two months, nearly 440,000 Jews were deported from Hungary in more than 145 trains. Most were deported to Auschwitz, but thousands were also sent to the border with Austria to be deployed at digging fortification trenches. By the end of July 1944, the only Jewish community left in Hungary was that of Budapest, the capital.

This is important, please support this statement, not just about the Hungarian issue.

Loose with the facts ?

Every website I make on the Holocaust is meticulously researched (embedded links to original resources). I did a short article on Auschwitz clowns and no one thought it could possibly be true. I provided extensive documentation till finally the people on this forum would accept it.

My process

Right now I am researching Anne Frank - I will read 100's of articles and build a documented timeline - pictures - quotes and a logical summation. I have to condense this to a 4 minute presentation.

Do I falsify facts

The holocaust, and it's witnesses provide enough absurdities, I don't have to add anything. How could I top Misha DeFonsca (wolf girl), Hungarian gold train (mid 1945) or Treblinka (3 mil gassed, 6 acre camp with no graves).

Mark,

First, I think the moderator was asking Richard to justify his statement. It was not directed at you. (That is how I read it anyway.)

As for you (Mark_Twain) exagerating, one time does come to mind. In the "Trebinka Evidence Please' thread, you said,
"Then the Nazis dug up the 3,000,000, burned the bodies, and threw the ashes to the winds. "

Carto then pointed out that the current 'belief' is under a million.
You then said,
"The problem is the stories keep changing. For 50 years I was told 4,000,000 was Auschwitz figure, 3,000,000 at Treblinka, 2,000,000 at Mauthausen and so forth. "

However, considering the context, I don't find your statements unreasable. If you do exagerate, it seems more rhetorical than anything. And note!!!, I said IF you exagerate. You seem justified by your previous explanation. That is, it is not YOU who are pulling such numbers out of your rump, it the the H Industry.

As for your posts, these unbelievable stories, well, I certainly welcome them! And, I must admit, as in the case of the clowns, I was again ready to ask if that site was a real internet site! A 130 pound old man wrestling with a moose and then locking him in the bathroom!

We should have a poll someday. Have everyone post their 5 all time best Big H yarns.

I shall endevour to point out any such problems in future when I see them. But you must admit that this example highlights a poor choice of words.

"His whole Hungarian family was gassed in Auschwitz in 1941, but even Jews claim no gassings before June of 1944."

I mean no offense. Your pages are a great way of getting the facts across in a nice simple fashion, which is what revisionism needs.

Well, I accidentally posted the same thing twice. How does one delete their own post? I know you can edit a post, how do you delete it?

You cannot delete it. You could edit/erase all the text, then say 'please delete'.

I'm impressed Mark Twain. These little creative things you're making are alright! Plus there's a certain subtlety to your approach that I like.

Basically the same chutzpah that gets the holocaust story out, also gets a story like this out. In other words, his whole life has been an outrageous lie, then in feebleminded old age and losing the spotlight, it's natural for him to rejuvenate himself with a new whopper. And unfortunately this rare 10 point buck had to get killed in the process. You can see the connection between this story and the holocaust story. And through the deer story, you can see how people are gullible enough to buy the holocaust story: There's your links to million dollar news stations reporting it.

And his wife alerts a passing cabdriver who calls the police. Since when is an area rural enough to have 10 point buck roaming around, going to have taxis all over the place? But that is the least of the problems with the story.

Finkelstein's new book "Beyond Chutzpah" should be about this guy. LOL.

What people like Tibor know about storytelling: if you throw some emotion into a story "being a holocaust survivor gave me strength to survive my deer fight!" then people will believe every word.

Mark, congratulations. The exposure of these stories is very powerful.

I have long hoped that someone would gather all the "eyewitness" tales in one book, perhaps a chapter for each venue, Auschwitz, Treblinka, etc. What a mess! But how revealing.

My quotes come from holocaust sites ( Simon Wesinthal, USHMM, etc). Auschwitz was 4,000,000~ Treblinka ran from 890,000 to 3,000,000 ~ Normally I hot link a ridiculous number.

I try to have Fredrick Toben read my web pages to see if they are too much. He has linked my Treblinka and Auschwitz pages.

Personally --- I find these stories absurd.

saw Prince Harry wearing a swastika

Harry was going to a fancy dress party - totally unrelated to the 60th anniversary events.

Very, very many people do cry when they experience the camps in person. Certainly I did. I think or many of you who have no first hand experience of camps such as Birkenau or Auschwitz, it is very easy to mock others who are doing something you have no experience of yourselves.

Camp visits should be compulsory for Revisionists, if you are to be informed about your subject.
