David Irving arrested at gunpoint in Austria

Prison authorities are holding back Mr. Irving's mail and they are electronically blocking all his phone calls to his London home and office, despite a Judge's order. It is now known that the trial be held before an 8-man jury and three judges (President : Dr Peter Liebetreu) on Feburary 20 (9am) and 21 at the Large Criminal Court, Vienna, Wichenburg gasse 22. Mr Irving has been charged under section 3g of the Verbotsgesetz, Austria's equivalent of Germany's law for the suppression of free speech. This unique law provides for sentences of 1-20 years. Mr Irving is accused of having expressed an illegal opinion during two lectures in Austria in November 1989, 16 years ago. He has visited Austria on more than one occasion since then. Any sentence handed down by the Court will immediately be appealed to the European Court of Human Rights by Mr Irving's well-known and formidable lawyer Dr Elmar Kresbach.

Urgent appeal for funds to assist Mr Irving and his family:

Yes, Nick, Irving's website appears to be online for everybody at this point. It was a week or so when it was completely gone.

I am curious as to why you say that. I would say that he would be in very serious trouble, and could face about twenty years jail.

The Austrian authorities I think will be only too happy to utilise Irving as a scapegoat, in the light of the fact that Austria was Hitler's homeland, as well as the fact that the Austrians at the time were only too happy to welcome the German Nazis, and the present politicians probably feel the need to exonerate themselves as ardent anti-nazis.

I felt at first that it was possibly a publicity stunt on the part of Irving in regard to the possible publication of his book on Himmler; but, reading various material, it seems that Irving did indeed take a risk and had bad luck in that regard. Anyway, is there any information concerning Irving's book on Himmler, as to whether he has finished writing it and if it is due for publication somehow?

You almost make it sound like Irving has commmited a serious crime (talking out of tune, talking sense instead of Zionist mandated utter nonsense).

And please spare us the "Austrian authorities" crap, because I think most on this forum at least know who is really pulling the strings, not only in Austria but Germany and especially America. It's those "nice folks next door" again, the usual common denominator.

The crime Irving committed is a "Meinungs Delikt" (thought crime), for which he is faced with up to 20 years in jail.
This is the freedom of speech which America under Jewish control is promissing the Middle East.

It is incredible.

Irving's site is down once again. A backup copy to download somewhere would be fine indeed.

How many times are you going to post this stuff? This article is a month old, and every time I see it check, and it's still there. The last time I saw this I saved the whole site with Teleport Pro, so if the little boy crying wolf is right this time, I've got a copy of it.
Let me know if anybody needs it. I haven't checked yet today.

Lipstadt says this towards the end of the article -

"I am not interested in debating with Holocaust deniers," she says. "You wouldn't ask a scientist to debate with someone who thinks the Earth is flat. They are not historians, they are liars. Debating them would be nonsensical.

"But we also should not allow them to become martyrs. Nothing is served by having David Irving in a jail cell, except that he has become an international news issue.

"Let him go home and let him continue talking to six people in a basement.

"Let him fade into obscurity where he belongs."

And there's the rub, she, along with the rest of the industry are terrified of Revisionists getting publicity, the above article is front page on the BBC website, she must be furious!

Also she seems to have dropped using the word 'revisionist' and uses 'denier' which she has been on record as saying that she wishes she'd never coined.

Ask her to explain why somebody is to be called a 'denier' when that person does not 'deny' what isn't there or did not happen. You will ofcourse never get a reply from her; because she is not interested in debate or discussion.

chammer wrote:I took a backup with htrack just after his lawyers announced his 'strategy' one week ago. Well, not that I'd refer to it proudly in the future but anyway...
Irving's strategy will probably give a big push to those who wish to maintain or reinforce those laws (or perhaps even to adopt it in the UK). But as he always prefered to do it his own way I presume he doesn't care.
But as I said the worst is that this strategy may fail for himself; they have no reason to let him go away just because he's temporarely ready to sing the song. In all the cases even if he is released he will be unable to raise money in the future and his books will not reapear on shelves..

chammer - would it be possible to get a copy of your copy of the Irving website? I'm ready to offer terms!!! From what I read, the website could have a very short lifespan. I'm at [email protected]
