UK Entry to the Iranian Holocaust Cartoon Competition

The first entry to the Iranian “holocaust cartoon” competition to come from Europe has been submitted.

Drawn by well-known professional cartoonist Robert Edwards, who was once famously jailed in 1981 in his native Britain for producing comic cartoon strips which also called into question the holocaust and multi-racialism in general, the cartoon shows the Iranian president popping the hot air balloon of Bush, Blair and Cheney, who are busy dropping bombs on Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine.

In his letter to the editor of the Iranian newspaper, Edwards wrote: “I am in full agreement with the position of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran on issues such as the alleged Holocaust and welcome his hosting of a conference on the subject. It proves there is more freedom of expression in Iran than in either America or Israel.

I would also like to inform you that I was jailed in England 25 years ago for the drawing of cartoons that offended the Board of Deputies of British Jews … and so all this talk of the West’s “cherished freedoms” is utter nonsense.”

Follow the link below for a larger image.

Other cartoonists can submit their work to the Iranians directly: email to [email protected], in JPEG format.

Idea for a Holocaust Cartoon:

Take http://csi.ubi.com/media/wallpaper/CSI_ ... r1_800.jpg
and add a little Modification:

Like this CSI Poster with Stalin himself as the Chief
Crime-Scene Investigator + the Faces of the other
Top-Notch NKVD Crime Scene Investigators like
the ones that also investigated the Katyn Crime-Scene
and came up with completely false Results.

"CSI:TREBLINKA"

To remind everyone who came up with the "Forensics" in
the biggest Crime Scene of Mankind and to make
everyone see what Quacks were at work then

Another Member of Stalins Top CSI Team must be

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burdenko
The Quack who "investigated" Katyn and Auschwitz
and testified in the Nuremberg Trials.

Maybe also in the Cartoon call for a *real* UN CSI
Inspection of Treblinka/Auschwitz and Co...

Maybe we could *pay* a real good cartoonist for such a
piece because "amateur" Cartoon Drawing Style sucks
and nobody will look at a amateur Cartoon.

Even better Idea:

Take the original CSI Poster and just replace the
Forensics Team with a Photo of
Stalins complete Politbureau of 1945:

CSI::TREBLINKA

The trustworthy CSI Team, that framed the Germany for
their own Crimes (Katyn).

Your cartoons were great, Mr. Dahl. I am curious of what type of cartoons Ahmed Rami has submitted :)

Iran: Holocaust Cartoon Competition Attracts Over 5,000 Entries

By Mehr news agency, Tehran
BBC Monitoring Media
07/24/2006

Excerpt from report by Iranian Mehr news agency

Tehran, 23 July: The judging ceremony for the international cartoon competition on the subject of the Holocaust was held yesterday, in the presence of Messrs Habib Sadeqi, Mohammad Hoseyn Nirumand, Mas'ud Shoja'i-Tabataba'i, Rahim Baqqal-Asghari and Farid Mortazavi, in Tehran's Contemporary Arts Museum.

According to the public relations office of Iran's House of Cartoons, from the 5,119 works received from 61 countries by the competition's secretariat (House of Cartoons), 724 were chosen for the final assessment, from which 293 were by Iranian artists and 431 by foreign artists.

The greatest number of participants, after Iran, were from Turkey, with 31; Brazil, with 21; India, with 17; Indonesia, with 15; and America, with 12 cartoonists.

Seyyed Mas'ud Shoja'i-Tabataba'i said the following about the way in which the competition was judged: The assessment of the works took place in three stages; ultimately, 150 works made it through to the exhibition stage and 16 people achieved top ranks.

He added: The three top people won 12,000 dollars, 8,000 dollars and 5,000 dollars respectively, as well as a plaque and a statuette, and 12 people will be given special prizes. [Passage omitted]

It should be added that [the names of] the top people, the date and venue of the exhibition and the prize-giving ceremony will be announced subsequently, and the people whose works have reached the exhibition will be awarded the exhibition's catalogue.

How bout a cartoon of Auschwitz Jews on their knees begging the Nazis to take them with them, rather than leave them to the Soviets...

Using Google Image I found some more cartoons from this contest that I don't think has been linked to here or on other revisionist websites:

I'm a bit disappointed - but not surprised - that there are hardly any submitted cartoons that deal with the absurdities of the Holocaust story itself. Most are just harping the old Israel=Nazis theme.

I have to disagree with Laurentz.
Here we have a big liar's nose from the figure impaling the peace dove while yelling 'holocaust'.

This is straight forward, Zionist Lies indeed:

This one cuts to the chase:

And this, 'real holocaust' lies here:

So Laurentz , perhaps you're not looking close enough. Or perhaps you're expecting something from the Rudolf Report in a cartoon.

If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.
