What has Anne Frank got to do with Liverpool?

Postby simon1003 » 1 decade 2 years ago (Wed Jan 09, 2008 1:43 pm)

Absolutely nothing is the straight answer but it appears that the hoaxsters have hijacked the 2008 Liverpool: European City of Culture to push their agenda.

Anne Frank's hideaway recreated

A lifesize replica of the secret hideaway where Anne Frank wrote her diary has been recreated in Liverpool to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
A copy of the bedroom where the young girl hid from the Nazis during World War II is the centrepiece of the Anne Frank Festival at Liverpool Cathedral.

The festival exhibition features pages from Miss Frank's diary and testimony from Holocaust survivors.

It is being staged in Liverpool as host city of the memorial day on 27 January.

The culmination of the Holocaust memorial day marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz in 1945.

The Anne Frank + You festival explores the persecution of Jews under the regime of Adolf Hitler as well as looking at contemporary issues including bullying, racism and the identity in modern day Britain.

Gerry Goldman, chairman of the Anne Frank steering committee, said: "It is an interactive exhibition but is it does more than just tell the story of Anne Frank and how she died at the hands of the Nazis.

"It picks up on aspects of her diary and translates it to modern day messages."

The Anglican Cathedral display charts the Jewish girl's move from Frankfurt in 1933 to the secret annexe in Amsterdam which was home to the family from 1942 to 1944.

They were then captured and taken to concentration camps where Anne died.

Her diary was discovered and published in 1947 by her father Otto who survived.
Liverpool's Lord mayor, Councillor Paul Clark, who recently visited the Auschwitz concentration camp with 200 pupils from the city has officially opened the festival.

He added: "The harrowing scenes in Auschwitz were a chilling experience.

"This is great opportunity for the people in Liverpool to experience, it should get a powerful and poignant reaction.

"People need to go and see the exhibition to realise how harrowing it was."

Admission to the festival is free and runs until 8 February.

If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.

This is a perfect example how the holocaust is used to push a political agenda and enact senses of shame and/or horror into target groups, specifically white Christians. There is a distinct moral particularlism at work here when we have groups such as Goldman's pushing uncritical tolerance and complete blind acceptance of all migrant cultures and social behaviors onto white Christians while practicing the opposite within Judaism and Israel. MultiCulturalism for thee, but not for me.

Clearly, the Anne Franks of the world are viewed by activist Jewry as a result of ages old collective European antisemitism rather than what mainstream historians claim it to be : a secret program enacted by a government that was not being honest with its own citizens or the world. The implication is that Europeans by extension, if not literal Nazis, then potential Nazis who must be reprogrammed and instilled with the proper sense of shame beginning at a very early age. This is when the holocaust imagery enters the picture the the endless drubbing of potential little white Hitlers begins. Young Europeans (or European-Americans, etc.) are bombarded with negative images of their own forefathers, traditional culture and a concerted effort is made to strip them of their identity and sense of national patriotism which is to be replaced by a guilt-driven, anti-white pluralist multiCult managerial state which is only being advocated in historically white countries while everyone else (including the Jewish state) are free to have positive ethnic and national identities, blatantly discriminate in matters of culture and immigration law and curtail intermarriage while gullible whitey is tripping over himself to engage in self-destructive behaviors to prove how 'non-racist' he is. Jurgen Habermas is a perfect example of a hoped-for outcome.

The great side benefit is the sympathy and support the Israeli apartheid state gets from all of this white dumbkopf guilt-wallowing.

It occurred to me last night that the true believers might actually be helping the revisionist cause with this kid of education (indoctrination?) stunt.

If only 1% of these 200 kids actually start looking further into the holocaust and use some common sense and critical though, then they could well start to wonder what the revisionst arguments are all about.

Maybe the lobby are unwittingly creating revisionists?

“The Anne Frank Festival will be second to none.

Second to NONE. I wonder what "other" festivals they're talking about, Christmas maybe?

Anne Frank+You exhibition, which includes a life-size replica of Anne Frank’s hiding place and explores the history of the Holocaust and presents contemporary issues such as racism in football, bullying, and questions of identity in modern Britain.

A life sized hiding place replica. Someone put a lot of work into this sham.

here's where these added details come from:
