Conference on "Extermination in Gas Chambers"

Postby Vlad » 1 decade 3 years ago (Sun Apr 20, 2008 7:51 am)

The Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung, a government agency, is preparing a major effort at refuting revisionist claims, a conference celebrating the publication of Nationalsozialistische Massentötungen durch Giftgas 25 years ago. Here are the official announcement and programme:
Extermination in Gas Chambers in National Socialist Concentration and Extermination Camps

Historical Significance - Technical Development - Revisionist Denial

Twenty-five years ago there was published the standard work "National Socialist Mass Murder with Poison Gas. A Documentation" - supported, besides other sponsors, also by the Federal Centre for Civic Education - , written by a group of German, French, Israeli, Dutch, Austrian and Polish experts, historians and jurists, camp survivors as Eugen Kogon and Hermann Langbein and by Adalbert Rückerl, senior prosecutor and then director of the Ludwigsburg 'Central Office for the Prosecution of National Socialist Crimes' (founded in 1958).

The conference aims to take stock of the current state of scientific research and to offer recent research findings for discussion, in particular concerning the gas chambers in the concentration camps in the 'Altreich'. The historical background and the technical and scientific prerequisites for the Nazi's use of poison gas for mass murder will be examined in collaboration with scientists of international repute. The developments that led from the murder of patients in the killing centres of 'Operation T4' to the mass murder in the gas chambers of extermination camps in eastern Europe and of concentration camps in the 'Altreich' will be considered chronologically and reciprocal influences will be figured out. One of the main objectives in doing so is to explore the relationship between technology, organization and politics.

Another central topic of the conference is the analysis of revisionist propaganda, which is increasingly turning its attention to the gas chambers in the concentration camps of the 'Deutsches Reich' and annexed Austria. For instance, the existence of the gas chamber in Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp has been cast into doubt in various fora. At Sachsenhausen the debate gains additional force by the dual history of the site, as a concentration camp and as a Soviet "special camp". There are similar attempts at denial concerning other concentration camps. The conference aims to cast light on the intentions and structures of revisionist campaigns in an international comparison and to develop counter-strategies.

Is anyone - of the people having access to Germany - attending this conference?

It seems that the homicidal gas chamber promoters in Germany are getting worried. And they cannot get away from that silly WWII propaganda piece, too much is at stake, it would make liars out of too many "eye witnesses", and a farce of the Frankfurt/Auschwitz trial.

It must be quite a show, liars trying to defend a lie.
The Holocaust hoaxsters exaggerate and embellish a 60+ year old event in order to abuse the Palestinians and rob them of their land, while claiming a free pass for their barbaric conduct on account of the "holocaust".

They have nothing to worry about. Germar Rudolf is in prison, Robert Faurisson, Carlo Mattogno, and Jürgen Graf won't be able to attend. Press coverage will be docile.

Interesting. Can we expect that the homicidal gas chambers of Sachsenhausen are going to be making a comeback? Of course, how could anyone have ever denied that there were homocidal gas chambers at Sachsenhausen, when the -

"Camp Commandant Anton Kaindl confessed to the gassing of prisoners, on his own authority, at Sachsenhausen"

and the "proof" of the existance of this homocidal gas chamber can be seen with ones own eyes here:

The genie is out of the bottle, and they are trying to get it back in with running a conference and the thought police waiting outside.

Ha ha!

Hopefully the presented papers will be published in some form so that we can scrutinize them "from a safe distance."

Vlad:

If they're going to develop "counter-strategies" of the debunking of the myths of Sachsenhausen, I thought it would be relevent to bring up the fact that the infamous "brain bashing machine" myth comes from Sachsenhausen and the fact that they're trying to resurect a gas chamber myth that has not only already been debunked, but has been accepted as debunked by virtually everyone.

Vlad:

Anyway, I believe this thread should be on the conference itself rather than on any specific claim its organisers come up with.

No problem Vlad. It's your post. I wasn't trying to derail your thread.

But I would like to make a suggestion (and I'll start another thread if you'd like Vlad), that we not let this conference go unchallenged. There should be some kind of alternative holocaust truth conference on the same dates somewhere. Something that we can use to take advantage of the publicity.

To hold an alternative conference won't be feasible. It would be even counterproductive. What's interesting here is the conspicuous absence of the other side in this peculiar debate. Among the less narrow-minded people attending the conference there may be some uneasiness about the fact that any overly critical question might actually lead to prosecution. That's what one should focus on.

I've removed the posts that were off topic, or any that went into specifics about the alleged gassings at certain sites. There are existing threads on those sites, or new ones can be started. None of the text from those posts has been lost, let me know if you want them back and I'll send them to you.

Let's talk about the conference. Once they present their case, we can then deconstruct them one by one in new threads or via links to existing ones.

The so called 'Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung' (read: Agency for Political Correctness) will no doubt create list of false claims that they will say embody Revisionist efforts, aka: a list of 'strawmen' arguments. Those involved in the laughable conference they will then claim to have refuted them .

This list will be:
1. completely false from top to bottom
2. misleading and / or ignores critical points
3. a purely political hatchet job with little basis in reality or relevance

They will do no better than they have done to date, but will desperately claim that they have 'refuted Revisionists'.

And since they are necessarily tied to the absurd Nationalsozialistische Massentötungen durch Giftgas and various other impossible 'facts', well, it will be downright funny.

They've painted themselves into a corner from which they cannot extract themselves. And since they lied, they must continue to lie.

The more they try, the worse it gets for them.

The Bundeszentrale won't bother with such a list as they have no interest in going into the details. They'll simply claim that the true experts in the field have demonstrated once again the deniers' claims to be entirely baseless.

150 participants are expected according to an early agency report:

Internationale Konferenz

(dpa/MAZ)

This conference beginds tomorrow May 15th, which happens to be the day of the 60th aniversary of the birth of israel.
I submitted a paper to the conference, reviewing chemical investigations, but was told I was too late.
