This oven looks too new. all the mortar in both the perps and beds is new.

The bricks also show no sign of colour fade, even after supposed use and sixty years.

Recent tampering has taken place here.

Spot the difference ?

Especially the mortar.

And how the bricks have lost their lustre, and radiance over the years.

You can spot their devious meddling, a mile off.

The more I look at that top picture, the more I see more errors .

Do you not think the cast-iron frame for the doors is too big for the actual opening in the brickwork ?

Look at the way the bricks hang down and protrude past the inside edge of the door frame by a good two inches. The bricks are also running past the frame from the sides. That door frame does not belong on that opening.

I cannot see it being built this poorly origionally, and all the other pictures of ovens the bricks are covered by the door frame like they are supposed to be.

This oven is a heavily tampered with bodge-up !
