Pointers and help for beginners

Postby borjastick » 7 years 2 months ago (Tue Apr 16, 2013 12:10 pm)

With a steady stream of new members here, all wishing to start learning about the holocaust myths and lies and others wanting to refine their learning even further, I thought it might be an idea for established members to give some key pointers to the subject.

I appreciate this subject has been covered before but it is always relevant to help with pointers to key reading matter and topics on the Forum.

May I suggest as I always do Dalton's book Debating the Holocaust and a good little video on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llbFc9Wc ... sults_main

I always found THE MYTH OF THE EXTERMINATION OF THE JEWS by CARLO MATTOGNO to be a good read for beginners. It's short and to the point.
Here is one extract from page 48:

2. Revisionist Criticism

It would be difficult to summarize the results of Revisionist criticism in a few pages.
Besides, we are concerned here not so much with presenting the results of Revisionist
research than Revisionism's reason for being, and its methodology, and that is why we
devote this chapter to explaining the reasons why, in our opinion, it is necessary to
doubt the reality of the "extermination" of the Jews:

At the time of the Nuremberg trial, the English public prosecutor, Sir Hartley
Shawcross, in his speech for the prosecution of 26 July 1946, accused the Germans of
having killed more than six million Jews "in the gas chambers and ovens of
Auschwitz, Dachau, Treblinka, Buchenwald, Mauthausen, and Oranienburg."

When the biggest name in the aptly named "Holocaust Industry"Raul Hilberg — got engaged in court, in what is known as "The Great Holocaust Trial", it didn't fare very well for him. See Hilberg demolished in court:

Remember, Hilberg was THE man at the time.

I declare an interest in that I am one of those behind this site but we have tried to be as beginner-friendly as possible at http://whatreallyhappened.info and to provide lots of links.

I'll give a specific link to this page http://whatreallyhappened.info/arguments What do those who dispute extermination say happened? in particular.

Codoh forum posters astro3 and horhug have provided some excellent material on the Bletchley Park decrypts, though this is perhaps outside the scope of this thread.

These videos are also interesting for beginners (and non-beginners).

First, I've just gotta say that I love this new forum layout.

Secondly, here's a list I often use when introducing new audiences to the Holohoax:

1. http://i.imgur.com/ykdoGhj.jpg

2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t9Rkpdv0lu0

3. http://tinyurl.com/83tp9l2

4. http://zioncrimefactory.com/the-six-million-myth/

5. http://tinyurl.com/7dbeecn

6. http://tinyurl.com/7dor9mo

7. http://codoh.com/

8. viewforum.php?f=2

(Note: #8 on the list should read the full "http://forum*codoh*com/viewforum.php?f=2" address but it's automatically shortened when I post the full link.)

I think the goal, when introducing people to the facts, is to remember how sensitive most people really are about this issue and try to figure out (and be sure to address) whatever parts of the hoax's storyline affected them the most, psychologically. For me, it was seeing the piles of dead bodies. I would hear stuff about the 'gas chambers' being a lie but then I'd remember the piles of bodies in photographs, and quickly dismiss Revisionist claims.

Long term, I think what we really need is a few more comprehensive, detailed, socially accessible, and inoffensive yet attention-grabbing documentaries for quick-reference to the basic points that we, as "Deniers", constantly find ourselves restating and referring to when discussing these topics with someone for the first time. I think Eric Hunt's "The Last Days of the Big Lie" is a great start because it shows, clearly, that certain people are willing to lie outright for the hoax. That signals the "green light" to start questioning it, at which point the evidence will speak for itself.

Yes, the forum software parses it in this way automatically to make internal links shorter. It would be a breeze to modify that routine, though. One alternative and IMHO the best way is to use BBCode, like so:

Code: Select all

[url=http://forum.codoh.com/viewforum.php?f=2]http://forum.codoh.com/viewforum.php?f=2[/url]

This would yield the following result:
http://forum.codoh.com/viewforum.php?f=2

The parameters is:

Code: Select all

[url=URL / Link]URL Text[/url]

I don't have any specific links or videos, but once I started looking into the psychology behind the blind faith believers of religion and other entities that rely on word of mouth, it helped me understand why people insist on perpetuating the Holocaust fables. It's easier to go along to get along rather than disagree and be forced to exercise the mind. Knowing why they believe what they believe is just as important as knowing what they believe in today's world where everyone is more concerned about their image in the eyes of others.

For an overall introduction, books are the best. In particular Thomas Dalton's Debating the Holocaust and Germar Rudolf's Lectures on the Holocaust (the latter link has a free pdf).

I was checking out Rudolf's "Lecture's" a little last night and will also get Dalton's book. I came to questioning the Holocaust via 9/11 and when I see Michael Shermer, I know there's something there.

I got lost in these links for almost a week! Thank you for the resources. I consider myself fairly well educated on the truth behind this phenomenon but now I am even more so. I guess I wouldn't consider myself a beginner in my off-line life, but on-line, when I come to this forum (and I read much more than I post and read for quite some time before I joined)...I am a beginner! Which is fine with me, I love to learn.

Thanks again.

This is an excellent video presentation hermod. I particularly like the frame at 10:14, really says it all. The tone is calm and non emotional, no nasty anti jewish comments etc, all adds up to a convincing and intelligent message.

I checked the links given here and unfortunately the site http://wnlibrary.com seems to have been disrupted. All links are redirected to the site http://k0nsl.org where these pdfs are not available.
So, in order to give readers access to these texts I recommend you to upload them at http://archive.org where many revisionist documents are available.
I am interested in "The Myth of the Extermination of the Jews" by Mattogno and "The Great Holocaust Trial" by Michael Hoffman.
A better solution would be the possibility of uploading all the documents of reference at a special page of CODOH where they would be then available for download without depending of any volatile sites.
TIA.
