TED Talks: "Downplaying the Holocaust"

This video features a young lady depicting an interesting interpretation of the orthodox narrative, suggesting New York Times controlling owner and publisher Arthur Sulzberger allegedly "downplayed" the Jewish Holocaust by minimizing it's significance in the New York Times. One interesting claim she makes is that Sulzberger supposedly "influenced his editors and writers to downplay the Holocaust [because of] his fear that the New York Times would be perceived as a 'Jewish paper' and lose credibility". This is in spite of her earlier mention that "between 1939 and 1945, historian Laurel Leff counts 1,186 articles about the Holocaust in the New York Times". Perhaps, his real fear in putting these articles on the front-page was that they might be challenged for their baseless accusations rather than being quietly stored away as "historical record".

This Jewish guy touches on the NYT failing to report the Holocaust enough, but mainly the video's about how the NYT didn't just fail to report on the Holodomor, they outright denied there was any major problems in the Ukraine.

The following is from Jean Strouse's 1999 biography of mega-financier J. P. Morgan:

One Southern Democrat who believed in "the strong certain hands of the East"* was a young German-Jewish newspaperman from Chattanooga. Tennessee, named Adolph Simon Ochs. His Chattanooga Times had come out squarely for gold, and in the summer of 1896, Ochs made a bid for the country's leading metropolitan newspaper, The New York Times. Founded in 1851, the Times had been staunchly Republican during and after the Civil War when its "Mugwump" editors backed Cleveland against Blaine in 1884, however. Republican readers and advertisers defected in droves. Democrats took over the paper, but with poor management and lively competition—especially from the new, scandal-mongering "yellow" press such as Pulitzer's World and Hearst's Journal—it had gone deeply into debt. By 1896 its paid circulation had fallen to nine thousand and it was losing $2,500 a week.

The combination of Ochs's success in Tennessee, his credible ambitions, his stalwart support of gold, and a letter of endorsement from Grover Cleveland persuaded the owners of the Times to sell him a controlling interest in the paper for a quarter of the stock's face value. Next. Ochs asked the principal bond-holders, including Morgan, to exchange their securities for new ones paying lower interest. He later recalled his terror at the prospect of approaching the formidable financier. To his amazement, when he arrived at the inner sanctum at 23 Wall Street. Morgan—who specialized in refinancing debt—rose to greet him, shook his hand, and said warmly. "So you're the young man I have heard about. Now, where do I sign the papers?"

In his first issue as publisher of the Times on August 19. 1896, Ochs announced that he would publish the news "impartially, without fear or favor, regardless of party, sect, or interests involved," and would not depart from the policies that distinguished the Times as a "non-partisan newspaper—unless it be, if possible, to intensify its devotion to the cause of sound money and tariff reform, opposition to wastefulness and peculation in administering public affairs, and in its advocacy of the lowest tax consistent with good government, and no more government than is absolutely necessary." It was a measure of the moment's moral absolutism that an honest proponent of sound money and small government could call them nonpartisan issues.

Morgan, Belmont, and Jacob Schiff each held $25,000 worth of the Times's $600,000 debt, which the new owners eventually bought back and retired. That the men involved in the resuscitation of the paper shared a commitment to gold was taken for conspiracy. Rumors that Morgan owned The New York Times haunted the paper and the banker for years.

* By "East" she means: the east of the U.S., I supposed NYC and Chicago; it's a reference to a contemporary newspaper article about the silver-bugs who supported W. J. Bryan being mostly from the south and west of the U.S.

So three of the people Ochs was heavily indebted to in 1896 were:

- J. P. Morgan

- August Belmont, Jewish, the Rothschild family's man in the U.S.

- Jacob "Russian Revolutionist" Schiff, Jewish, aside from his family being old associates of the Rothschilds (Schiff's grandfather had shared a home in the Frankfurt Judengasse with Mayer Amschel Rothschild and sons), Schiff was also related by marriage to the Warburgs, and together they controlled the American Jewish Committee, the organisation that harped on incessantly from 1914 to the early 1940s about "six million Jews" being on the verge of death.

There's a huge literature on this subject, and it goes like this: the New York Times, The Catholic Church, The Pope, The American Rabbi Wise, FDR didn't do enough to publicize the holocaust because_______ (enter reasons like "assimilation" "secret collaborator via silence")

But the reason they didn't mention it, publicize it is because the holocaust is a myth. The holocaust wasn't happening.

Rabbi Wise fed The NY Times as much phony propaganda as possible. I agree that they knew it was propaganda, even if I remember correctly, some in the Roosevelt administration are on record as saying that.

Thankfully we can just search the NY Times archives ourselves and not let Mrs. Jabba the Hutt in the video tell us how to analyze history, like the NY Times and similar Jewish media monopolies in the past were able to do. TED Talks are so pretentious. People sit in auditoriums and listen to an "expert" like they're at church. Where's the "democracy", where are the audience questions?

As we've shown, the NY Times was so good at UP-playing the Holocaust they wrote about 6 million dead or soon to be dead Jews decades before World War 2.

Even Himmler heard about Wise's atrocity propaganda through the NY Times and made sure it wasn't true-

Joachim Neander, in a German paper presented at the 28th conference of the German Studies Association, cites the following quote by Himmler from a November 20, 1942 letter to the head of the Gestapo, Heinrich Müller. Himmler had written to Müller due to an exposé by Rabbi Dr. Stephen Wise, which mentioned the soap rumor and had been printed in The New York Times:

One should analyse the discrepancy between press releases and internal memoranda concerning the situation in Eastern Europe. Did any of the Allied intelligence services (the info gathering ones) verify or validate homicidal gassing claims?

Headlines or not, maybe Sulzberger wasn't convinced by his own newspaper's numerous extermination claims after all, as his newspaper published an article on May 20, 1945 (around 2 weeks after the end of WW2 in Europe) claiming that more than 6 million 'slaves' had just been found alive in Nazi hidden factories. It wasn't stated that those 'slaves' were Jews, but two cases were detailed in the article and both were stories told by Jewish 'survivors'.

Yea I'm the one who made that specific image many years ago which you posted and others which have circled all around the internet and helped jump start a movement on the internet to support Heddesheimer's and others claims via the newly digitized newspaper archives.

So yea that image DOES downplay "The Holocaust" because it's accurate reporting and not mythomania! Mrs. Jabba the Hutt is right!

Funny thing to show to the people calling Holocaust revisionism "a conspiracy theory".

Maybe the 'Holocaust' wasn't the front-page news because it was first denied by the Vatican and the Red Cross when asked for a confirmation of the allegations made by the World Jewish Congress. The Vatican (with "agents" in every Polish village and city) and the International Red Cross (regularly inspecting German concentration camps, including Auschwitz) were in fact the first "Holocaust deniers" in the world...
