US, Canada, Ukraine Reject UN Anti-Free Speech Resolution

Postby Hannover » 4 years 3 months ago (Mon Nov 23, 2015 5:44 pm)

Under the smoke screen of fighting "racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia, intolerance and glorification of Nazism" this resolution, which is really about preventing free speech and scrutiny of the 'holocaust' storyline, was rejected by the US, Canada, Palau, and Ukraine while another 53 countries, including the European Union nations and NATO members abstained from the vote. Reasons for it being rejected were predictably not included.

A UN General Assembly committee has passed a resolution “combating glorification of Nazism,” with 126 countries voicing their support. Meanwhile, the US, Ukraine and Canada voted “against,” raising eyebrows. Moscow has called the decision “regrettable.”

The resolution, which was initially proposed by Russia and co-authored by 52 states, including Brazil, China, India, and Kazakhstan, deals with measures to fight the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism, and other practices that facilitate the escalation of modern forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and intolerance.

It condemns any denial of the Holocaust, as well as any form of glorification of the Nazi movement, including honoring former members of the Waffen SS organization. The document also expresses concern over the installation of memorials related to Nazism and “unending attempts to desecrate or destroy the monuments to those who fought against Nazism during World War II.”

The vote was held at the UN General Assembly’s so-called Third Committee on social, humanitarian and cultural issues. The full General Assembly is scheduled to vote on the resolution later, during the 70th session.

A total of 126 member-states supported the resolution, while four countries — the US, Canada, Palau, and Ukraine – voted against it. Another 53 countries, including the European Union nations and NATO members abstained from the vote.

The four votes against the resolution raised questions, with Russia stating that it finds the decision of those countries to reject the resolution “bewildering” and “regrettable.”

Last year, 115 countries voted in support of a similar resolution, with three countries voting against – the US, Canada, and Ukraine.
The 'holocaust' storyline is one of the most easily debunked narratives ever contrived. That is why those who question it are arrested and persecuted. That is why violent, racist, & privileged Jewish supremacists demand censorship. What sort of truth is it that crushes the freedom to seek the truth? Truth needs no protection from scrutiny.

The tide is turning.
If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.

I'm truly at a loss here. Isn't it good news that the US votes against such a measure and that the EU and NATO members abstain?

Good news only as far as a non-binding 'UN resolution' goes, but why the abstentions from countries who put people in jail for exercising free speech on the impossible 'holocaust' narrative? Those same countries lock up people for so called 'racist speech', so called 'antisemitism', on & on.

In the US, college campuses are bastions of repressive neo-Marxism where they formulate their own laws outside of the constitutionally required legislative process. If the US was serious about the rise of leftist totalitarianism and Jewish supremacism it would demand that free speech be protected everywhere, they would allow asylum for those fleeing Orwellian European laws, it would demand that violent Israeli apartheid measures end.

Utter and complete hypocrisy is the story here.

It's quite obvious why the U.S. , Canada and Ukraine voted against the resolution; the U.S. is supporting the Kosher Kiev Junta which overthrew Yanukovich. Pravy Sector and the so called "Neo-Nazi" batallions fighting against the pro-Russian Novorossiyan Armed Forces in Donbas are important allies of the Poroshenko government; these people have adopted National Socialist and Waffen S.S. symbols, but they are little more than criminal thugs which use the symbols as their gang symbols. They would never have been accepted into the Waffen S.S.

It's funny how the conflict in Eastern Ukraine illustrates so well how the world has turned upside down.

Well, with Dirlewanger perhaps... They even had Gypsies. Doctrine:"To fight partisans, you got to be like a partisan".

Unfortunately, the Ukies are behaving like the partisans and the NAF (Novorossiyan Armed Forces) are behaving in a civilized manner.

The difference being that the Ukies are behaving like the partisans and the NAF (Novorossiyan Armed Forces) are behaving in a civilized manner.
