What I'm trying to suggest to you is the fact that in an event of the magnitude and complexity of the Second World War all sides commit abominable war crimes.

It's true that some did, according to circumstance, specialize more than others in particular lines of criminality, say indiscriminate massive fire bombing on the part of the British and Americans, murderous use of slave labor on the part of the Germans and Soviets, aggressive invasion of neutral countries by everybody according to military convenience etc..

Pretending otherwise only applies different sets of blindfolds to the partisan observers. Take for instance "Poland openly talked about war against Germany." Is that really any better than "Germany openly talked about exterminating the Jews"? Of course it isn't.

Does WW2 & "Holocaust" revisionism contain any potentially important moral lesson? I believe it does, and this is it: war crimes and criminal "reprisals" against the innocent were so pervasive as to become meaningless in isolation; hence war itself was the crime.

Next step: who has the power to avoid war? We do, provided we manage to break the spell of propaganda forced on us by the warmongers we empower. Don't worry too much about the small fry who will probably be murdering here and there anyway, even in peacetime, worry about the potential criminals who can wage war -- and do.

Slave labour is typical for democ-rats.
The Africans that were deported to New Orleans and purchased by US farmers were slave and they had to deliver "slave labor".
The Germans hired workers from foreign countries because the German workers had to do their job as soldiers, and prisoners.

But no slaves. As far as I know the Soviets also used prisoners and PoWs - but also no soldiers.

Please do not transfer US crimes to the Germans.

This was no war crime during WW2. Only after the war - and retroactive for Germany - which in turn is a democratic crime.

Hitler could not let Polish leaders taunt Germany because east of Poland lay the Soviet threat, whose terrorists tried in 1936 to gain a foothold in Spain, and who Hitler knew were using 1938 and ’39 to re-group and build armaments to attack Germany for use as a springboard to spread a reign of terror throughout Europe.

Hitler only entered Poland and other east European countries when diplomacy failed and these countries continued aggressions allowed the Soviet military possible avenues to attack Germany.

I can probably assume that everyone knows of this book.

Description:

Using new documents and reevaluating existing material, The Chief Culprit analyzes Joseph Stalin’s strategic design to conquer Europe and his support for Germany, which helped bring Hitler to power and sustained him. Stalin’s strategy leading up to World War II grew from Vladimir Lenin’s belief that if World War I did not ignite the worldwide Communist revolution, then a second world war would be needed to achieve it. Stalin saw Germany as the power that would fight and weaken capitalist countries so Soviet armies could sweep across the European continent to the Atlantic.

Viktor Suvorov reveals how Stalin conspired with German leaders to bypass the Versailles Treaty, which forbade German rearmament. Secretly, the Soviet Union trained German engineers and officers as well as provided bases and factories for war. In 1939, the nonaggression pact between the Soviet Union and Germany allowed Hitler to proceed with his plans to invade Poland, fomenting war in Europe. Stalin emerges as a diabolical genius consumed by visions of a worldwide Communist revolution at any cost, the leader who wooed Hitler and Germany in his own effort to conquer the world.

The author debunks the myth that the Soviet Union was a victim of Germany’s aggression. Instead, he insists that Stalin neither feared Hitler nor mistakenly trusted him. Suvorov argues that after Germany occupied Poland, defeated France, and started to prepare for an invasion of Great Britain, Hitler’s intelligence services detected the Soviet Union’s preparations for a major war against Germany. In 1940, Germany drafted a preemptive war plan, which it launched in June 1941, the invasion of the USSR.
About The Author:

Viktor Suvorov is the author of eighteen books, including three works of fiction. He was a Soviet Army officer who served in military intelligence (GRU). In 1978, he defected to the United Kingdom, where he worked as an intelligence analyst and lecturer. He lives in England.
