Postby Kacey » 1 decade 6 years ago (Sun Apr 18, 2004 3:16 am)

Hello all,

Does anyone know what was the source of heat for cooking in the Auschwitz/Birkenau cookhouse/s?

Many thanks,

Kacey

That is a very good question. I'll keep an eye out for references to this. I assume that it was coal but it may have simply been electricity, as there are occasional references to modern soup cookers.

:D
