Holocaust Handbooks Delayed?

Postby WarpSoldier » 3 years 10 months ago (Thu Jan 14, 2016 8:23 pm)

I think something seriously corrupt is going on here. When looking at newer volumes and editions, you can see that "Jewish Emigration from the Third Reich" has an English Holocaust Handbooks cover. Even more surprising, we see the volume with this same cover on the display photo at http://www.holocausthandbooks.com, which would suggest the English edition came out already - yet the volume's page yields a Theses and Dissertations cover.

Before December 10, last year: Healthcare at Auschwitz arrives at the CODOH shop in a German edition. A few days later, it's gone, without an explanation. A month passes by and we're in January, when Special Treatment in Auschwitz is due for it's update. That is still being delayed.

Am I imagining things here? What's going on? :?

So sir, I fail to see any 'corruption'. How do the words 'out of stock', 'sold out', 'publishing delay' or 'publisher change' sound?
What, you think it's Time magazine or something?

We already had an estimate of when vol. 33 was coming out in English, around the holidays. Out of the blue though, the German edition drops off the face of the earth, even though it's up for sale apparently for a brief period. And vol. 12 is updated, in English, but it's not up for purchase.

Wouldn't it make sense for us to at least have some kind of idea what's going on while we patiently wait, instead of this? I'm aware that the companies are legit, but it irks me that this is happening.

Understood, sir. But publication/publisher problems seem to be a common occurrence everywhere.
I agree though, the sooner the better.

With all due respect, here is an idea... email the publisher. Rudolf is very courteous with a reply whenever I have contacted him. Beats starting a negative gossip thread.

Confused why you would ask here rather than a simple email to either publisher.

Besides, we already have a thread dedicated to upcoming publications: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=8867
