Opening of UN files on Holocaust will 'rewrite chapters of history'

Postby gandalfssocks » 1 month 1 week ago (Tue Apr 18, 2017 1:35 am)

Archive used in prosecution of Nazis reveals detailed evidence of death camps and genocide previously unseen by public

Why now :wink

“This is a huge resource for combating Holocaust denial,” Plesch said. “The German national authorities were never given access to the archive by the allies after the war. All of this has never seen the light of day.”

And from this significant newspaper report we see this -
A charge sheet from April 1944 mention victims being forced to strip off clothing and how “the terracotta floors in the chambers … became very slippery when wet”.

Wow that's it, I'm with Eric...
'Of the four million Jews under Nazi control in WW2, six million died and alas only five million survived.'

Aah, but people will be able to add to this apparently.....

" It may well be that people will be able to rewrite crucial chapters of history using the new evidence."

Ooohhh secret!!

Plesch helped persuade diplomats, including the then US ambassador at the UN, Samantha Power, to release the secret material.

There are more than 300 pages detailing his orders and responsibilities. The Nazi leader was eventually indicted in secret by a meeting of the UNWCC in late 1944 as Luftwaffe bombs fell on London.

The Polish government in exile, the files also record, supplied extraordinarily detailed descriptions to the UNWCC of concentration camps such as Treblinka and Auschwitz, where millions of Jews were gassed. The accounts had been smuggled out of occupied eastern Europe.

Good news. Additional testimonial 'evidence,' this is just what the "Holocaust" needed to be at last as documented as alien abductions, bigfoot hunting and witchcraft.

I wonder if these accounts are as detailed as those documenting the Kaiser's "corpse factories" during the previous world war. We'll see...

Is this another hide and seek game with the evidence? Ask yourself, if they had convincing evidence in the past, why did they resort to dirty tricks silencing tactics.

The once-inaccessible archive of the UN war crimes commission, dating back to 1943, is being opened by the Wiener Library in London with a catalogue that can be searched online.

What that shows is rather that they tried making a case, before being even able to verify any evidence. Given that they were waging war against Germany and the axis, the motives and credibility or rather lack thereof are self-evident.

BTW: UN still has clauses against the former axis states:
The UN Charter still designates Italy, Germany and Japan as enemy states to the United Nations. In legal terms this means that any U.N. Member State can launch a “preemptive” military aggression against these nations without a declaration of war. Seldom discussed, this enemy State status is today, arguably, one of the greatest obstacles for a lasting peace in Asia and in Europe.

Since the end of WW II none of the G-4, that is China, UK, USA, and the USSR / Russia have taken steps to abolish the Enemy State Clause from the Charter of the United Nations. The UN Charter still designates Italy, Japan and Germany as enemy States to the United Nations. This fact is generally omitted from the public political discourse; that is, both in the G-4 nations as well as in Italy, Japan and Germany.

The implications and the lack of the sovereignty (e.g. the jus ad bellum) are, arguably, one of the greatest obstacles with regard to achieving a lasting Asian and European peace. A few examples should amply demonstrate why.

Here is one of the clauses.

Article 53
The Security Council shall, where appropriate, utilize such regional arrangements or agencies for enforcement action under its authority. But no enforcement action shall be taken under regional arrangements or by regional agencies without the authorization of the Security Council, with the exception of measures against any enemy state, as defined in paragraph 2 of this Article, provided for pursuant to Article 107 or in regional arrangements directed against renewal of aggressive policy on the part of any such state, until such time as the Organization may, on request of the Governments concerned, be charged with the responsibility for preventing further aggression by such a state.

The term enemy state as used in paragraph 1 of this Article applies to any state which during the Second World War has been an enemy of any signatory of the present Charter.

This should be entertaining.

No doubt there will be restrictions & limitations placed of this 'searchable' data base a la the archives at Arolsen. Recall 'credible historians only'.
We should consider what they will leave out, what will not be 'searchable'.

If this was what they claim then where are references to it?

And why was all this hidden from view for seven decades?

Ultimately what we will be allowed to see will probably turn out to be wild Zionist rantings, a la 'Treblinka steam chambers', or 'gassings that allowed Jews to walk to the mass graves, die, & fall in', or beauties like 'swallowing her jewelry & then defecating it night after night until she was freed'.

This dog don't hunt.

Fresh news: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/ho ... 94631.html

Holocaust denial just got a little harder. [...] “This is a whole hardware store of nails to hammer into the coffin of Holocaust denial,” said Dan Plesch, director of the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS University of London.

Library to make UN Holocaust archives available to public online

London institution to make War Crimes Commission records available for first time

Holocaust denial just got a little harder.

The Wiener Library for the Study of Holocaust & Genocide is making the United Nations' files on World War II war crimes more accessible by allowing the general public to search an online catalogue of the documents for the first time beginning Friday. People will still have to visit the library in London or the US Holocaust Museum to read the actual files.

The move is expected to increase interest in the archives of the United Nations War Crimes Commission, including the names of some 37,000 people identified as war criminals and security suspects. The commission operated in 1943-1949, but access to its records was restricted for political reasons in the early days of the Cold War.

“This is a whole hardware store of nails to hammer into the coffin of Holocaust denial,” said Dan Plesch, director of the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy at SOAS University of London. “It's the first time it is practically accessible to the general public as the commission initially intended.”

[...]

The documents detail Allied efforts to prosecute thousands of alleged Nazi and Japanese war criminals, from heads of state like Adolf Hitler to guards at the Auschwitz and Treblinka concentration camps.

The archive includes evidence gathered by local people who documented crimes long before the war ended and smuggled to Allied leaders in London.

“These people were meeting under aerial bombardment, dealing with affidavits smuggled out” of occupied countries, Plesch said. “Resistance movements were paying attention to the legal prosecution of oppressors.”

Ah, "Affidavits". Haven't we seen of those before? I'd imagine that we've been shown the best of it a long time ago.

I think Holocaust Revisionism will get a little more easy from now on.

Shower tiles get slippery when wet. And they have to search these "vast archives" for that?
It really doesn't rewrite chapters of (shower) history.

Much of the evidence was collected by the Czech government in exile

When the government is in exile, how does it collect reliable evidence?

...escaped from a prisoner of war camp to join Polish partisans and was re-imprisoned...

So, the always evil Germans didn't shoot/hang/gas etc. all the captured partisans?
Carol Stulberg: Were you ever in the gas chamber? Did you see the gas chamber?
Morris Venezia: Of course I was every day over there.
Carol Stulberg: Can you describe to us what it looked like?
Morris Venezia: It’s nothing to describe
