on Irving's bogus 'overheard conversations'

Postby Hannover » 1 decade 2 years ago (Wed Aug 15, 2007 11:57 am)

David Irving is apparently playing a little game. Here he makes available for download, various German officers' 'overheard conversations', supposedly recorded by the British.
Irving writes:
UNEXPECTED TREAT: David Irving has posted the manuscript of his 1980s unpublished work "SECRETLY OVERHEARD: Eavesdropping on Hitler's Reich" - the extraordinary secret conversations of Nazi prisoners, recorded by hidden British microphones. The good news: the download is free. The bad: it is partly in German, partly in English.

A treat indeed', a Revisionist treat.

You're lead to believe that they are highly incriminating and conclusive as to the evils the Germans on WWII. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Very simply, the text of these 'conversations' do not stand up to scrutiny. In fact, they are laughably absurd. Here are some examples of threads I have started at The CODOH Revisionist Forum on these obviously bogus 'conversations':

'The bogus Bruns document'

'recorded conversations not - 'pumpkins/music directors'

'yet another bogus conversation, this one about 'gassings'

'Bogus alleged 'conversation' about Babi Yar'

Below, we have the always foxy Irving shooting down his supposed acceptance in these conversations.

If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.
