Dachau gas chamber photos

Postby Sannhet » 8 years 11 months ago (Mon Feb 07, 2011 7:49 pm)

Upon visiting the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, one is led to believe mass-exterminations occurred at Dachau.

No historian claims gassings occurred at Dachau. Not even the most rabid Exterminationist. Although immediately after the war gassings-stories were reported, all such myths were refuted by American inquiry soon enough.

A large number of inmates died at Dachau, two-thirds of them from Nov. 1944 onward, as the German war machine crumbled. [Dachau death figures by month, 1940-1945 (JHR Vol. 9 No. 4)]. However, any claims of homicidal-gassings, and "extermination" generally, at Dachau, have long since been abandoned.

In another thread, we find that the Dachau "gas chamber" actually warned all who saw it to stay out, for risk of "Lebensgefahr" (Danger of Death). The warnings of "Nicht oeffnen!" (Do not open!), "Vorsicht! Gas!" (Danger! Gas!), with an ominous skull-and-crossbones to match, all suggest whoever ran this camp did not want people to die in this room, and that it was a delousing chamber, as all such prisons would have had. Fritz Berg points out that the use of these photos by Holocaust-Enforcers is truly absurd, and is even contemptuous of the viewer's capacity for logic: The mythmakers would have us believe the Nazis warned their victims?!

Presented below are photos and accompanying text from USHMM.org, the website of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington. They are still tacitly/implicitly claiming gassings occurred at Dachau, despite the absurdity of the printed warning on the very photos they use, and the fact that historians abandoned Dachau Extermination claims long ago.

All captions are as they appear at the USHMM as of this writing [Feb. 2011], though the original dates of caption are not provided.

A question, were food supplies cut short in Dachau because of Allied bombings?

I am from former Eastgermany , every room in the basement in our school (built in the 70s) had steel air shelter doors. It was only to use these rooms also as air shelters.

This was usual in all public buildings !

During my army service , the shower rooms are located in the basement of the barracks. All shower rooms had steel doors , because of the opportunity
to use the rooms as air shelters.

Maybe I am wrong and the communists built these rooms for future gassings .... :-)

It's always a problem for liars to keep their lies straight. The Jewish supremacists at the US Holocaust Theme Park and the paid administrators of the laughable museum at Dachau simply continue to lie.

In 1960 Martin Broszat, a member of the Institute of Contemporary History in Munich, wrote:
"Neither at Dachau, nor at Bergen-Belsen, nor at Buchenwald were any Jews or other detainees gassed" ("Keine Vergasung in Dachau", Die Zeit, August 19, 1960, p. 16).

At Nuremberg the Allies showed a film of a delousing facility at Dachau (pictured in above post), claiming it was homicidal gas chamber. That was the only alleged 'gas chamber' that was shown in the film, or any film at Nuremberg. Of course, the communists did submit a detailed 'forensic report' claiming that Jews were steamed to death in steam chambers. Yes, they did.

from persecuted Frenchman, Dr. Robert Faurisson:
... in 1960 M. Broszat, without any explanation, decreed in a simple letter that no one had been gassed at Dachau; thenceforth, the Dachau Museum authorities, quite embarrassed, have tried, by means of assorted deceitful ploys varying over time, to fool their visitors into believing that, in this room that looks like showers (and for good reason, since that is what it was), people had well and truly been gassed.

Revisionists are just the messengers, the absurd and impossible tales of the 'holocaust' are the message.

If it can't happen as alleged, then it didn't.

Statement by Stephen F. Pinter, U.S. War Department, writing in June 1959:

I was in Dachau for 17 months after the war, as a U.S. War Department Attorney, and can state that there was no gas chamber at Dachau. What was shown to visitors and sightseers there and erroneously described as a gas chamber was a crematory. Nor was there a gas chamber in any of the other concentration camps in Germany. We were told that there was a gas chamber at Auschwitz, but since that was in the Russian zone of occupation, we were not permitted to investigate since the Russians would not permit it. ... I interviewed thousands of Jews, former inmates of concentration camps in Germany and Austria, and consider myself as well qualified as any man on this subject.

"Kaput -- Leer"
(Broken -- Empty)

Am I correct that someone has scrawled those words in chalk on the above? (I cannot read the smaller text behind it). I wonder who did it and when and why?

The photo was taken May 1st 1945, according to USHMM.

Looking at the death figures by month, it should be pretty clear that they were:

From a review of Dachau: 1933–1945, The Official History (JHR, Vol. 9, No. 4)

Image
NOTE: This, chart reprinted from page 281 of Berben's "Dachau," illustrates some interesting facts. Note that the death rate in Dachau fell slightly in 1942. In 1943 the death rate fell almost 50 per cent. In 1943 the death rate was at an all-time low, yet according to Exterminationist theory the "final solution" should have been in full swing. In 1944, with the reappearance of typhus in the camp, deaths rose dramatically. Note that 66 per cent of all deaths at Dachau took place in the last 7 months. It should also be noted that in the winter months of 1942-43 another typhus outbreak hit the camp. There is also an unusually high number of deaths for March, 1944, due to Allied bombings of Kommandos which resulted in the deaths of 223 prisoners.

Comment: The fact that the deaths rates fell in 1942 and 1943 (according to even Exterminationist historians) seems to validate the often-cited Himmler quote demanding lower death rates at the camps.

To address your question about food specifically:
...This period of relative plenty [at Dachau] lasted till the end of 1944 when the disruption of communications stopped the dispatch of parcels. ... Medical service was "complete and modern, and in normal conditions specialists could have treated all the diseases efficiently" but "at the end of 1944, the service was overwhelmed." Bunk space was sufficient until the last few months of the war, when the huts became increasingly overcrowded. The key factor in the death rate for prisoners was the German breakdown.
As the Allies closed in on the center of Germany, large numbers of prisoners were evacuated from camps near the front and moved to the interior. Dachau, centrally located as the Reich contracted, became a key camp in these transfers. Thus, while food and medical supplies became more difficult to obtain, the demand at Dachau increased as prisoners were transferred there from the other camps.

The reviewer later writes two particularly notable things, one about food and one a general comment:
First:
It is little known that there was a canteen in the camp from which prisoners could purchase food. As Berben notes, "Money brought on arrival and any that was subsequently sent to a prisoner was credited to him …" (p. 60) In 1942 a system of "gift coupons" was instituted and the possession of money forbidden, because it was believed that money in the hands of prisoners would make it easier for them to escape. "The money in their account had to be used for the purchase of articles obtainable at the canteen." (p. 60) Berben lists some of the items available for purchase: Beetroot jam, oatmeal, sauerkraut, dried vegetables, tinned mussels and fish, cucumbers, condiments, etc. were on sale … The canteen also stocked articles such as needles and thread, and particularly lotions, creams and perfume

Second:
The death rate in central Hamburg, in one night of Allied bombing, more than doubled the wartime death rate for Dachau. Paul Johnson, in his massive history Modern Times, notes that "… in one night alone fatal casualties in the four fire-storm districts were 40,000 or up to 37.65% of the total population." (p. 403) The infamous fire bombings of the civilian targets of Dresden resulted in an even greater percentage of casualties. David Irving, in The Destruction of Dresden, writes:
If a death-rate of this scale [367.5 per thousand] could have been possible in a city like Hamburg, where the most elaborate air-raid precautions had been taken, it seems not unreasonable to assume at least the same proportion and very probably a higher proportion of fatalities during the triple blow on Dresden … (p. 229)

(Irving cites considerable evidence for a death total at Dresden on Feb. 13th, 1945 of ~130,000). [See here for his "Dresden Index"].

Again, all the above quotations are taken from a Review of Dachau: 1933–1945, The Official History (JHR, Vol. 9, No. 4)

"Antifaschistischen Schutzgaskammern", naturally. :)

To those who do not understand: (Walter Ulbricht famously called the Berlin Wall an "Antifaschistischer Schutzwall" [anti-fascist protective rampart]. That was shortly after his famous "Niemand hat die Absicht eine Mauer zu errichten" ["Nobody intends to 'build a wall'!"] speech in 1960 or '61... ).

I think The Dachau museum claims that there were 4 fumigation chambers and 1 homicidal chamber (disguised as a shower room). The "homicidal" chamber was NEVER USED.

This is the sign that is in it:
Gas chamber disguised as a “shower room”
-never used as a gas chamber

http://www.scrapbookpages.com/dachauscr ... auE019.jpg

They had to invent some kind of a fairy tale that the shower was a gas chamber but it was never used as a gas chamber:-)

BTW this is a question posted on the Henry Mazal ( professional holocaust believer) website.

The Dachau Gas Chamber
Question

Dear Team

My compliments on a very informative site.

I have a question about the gas chambers at Dachau.

During a tour of Dachau in 1998 our tour guide told us that no one was = gassed there and that the gassing cubicles were built to give an indication of what they would have been like if they had been there. He was a middle aged gentleman who seemed very knowledgable about all facets of the camp.

I would be very interested in hearing your views on this.

Best regards

The original U.S Army investigation after liberation, described the alleged gas chamber at Dachau as having a 10 ft. ceiling beset with "brass fixtures" (Doc L-159, No. 47 of 79th Congress, 1st Session (Exhibit NO. USA-222; IMT, XXXVII, p.621)).

The ceiling today is 7 ft. 6 in. and the 'fake shower heads' shown to tourists are made of sheet metal. The 'brass fixtures', obviously real shower heads, had to be made to look fake to fit the storyline

This is too easy.

New to the forums, Hello. I'm a revisionist and lately this topic has engulfed me like i'm sure it has to many of you. I'm wanting to read more hard evidence, from actual guards, and more Jews who where in the camps. Does anyone know if we have any of Stephen's interviews?

Craig,

Several other sources spring to my mind immediately.

The memoir "Innocent at Dachau" by Joseph Halow, is one of the most interesting books I have read on the subject. The author was a then-very-young court reporter at the Dachau trials of 1947-48. (The Dachau Trials tried certain concentration camp guards and others accused of crimes against civilians and against Allied POWs). The title is more a reference to the author's own innocence than anything. He was only 19 when the trials began. The book's anecdotes and reminiscences of some of these minor, long-forgotten trials are a highly-interesting supplement, very useful for getting a feel for the Zeitgeist of the 1945-1948 period, when the Holocaust Myth was born.

You may also find "Auschwitz, Truth of Lie?" by Thies Christophersen of interest. He spent the entire year of 1944 in the Auschwitz complex, wandering freely. He worked as a scientist. “During the whole of my time at Auschwitz, I never observed the slightest evidence of mass gassings.”

Of course, what you seek is perhaps epitomized by the intrepid Paul Rassinier, a member of the French Resistance, ardent anti-Nazi, and concentration camp inmate. He is called the Father of Holocaust-Revisionism.
